I’ve always been an advocate for finding ways to create art with materials that are already inhabiting our planet. I started with mosaics years ago and then fell in love with tin and I haven’t looked back.  Treasure hunting at flea markets, thrift stores, and estate sales is half the fun. And there’s nothing like walking to my front gate to see that my community, who has dubbed me “The Tin Lady”, has left me their extra tins and metal. This image is just a sampling of inventory so you don’t scratch your head when I say “I make art from cookie tins!”.
